A Surpise 80th Birthday Party

This month has been a big month for event photography for me. So when I was asked to shoot a surprise party for my husbands grandmother, I was more than honored. I had so much fun it didn't feel like work at all. The only bad thing is when you know your clients they can threaten you with Christmas presents if you don't put away the camera. With my lack of presents and my new found nickname from papaw,(paparazzi) I should probably choose the pictures I post very carefully. I am so lucky to be part of such an amazing family.

Little Miss Kayleigh

It was brought to my attention by my mother in law that I have only one picture of Kayleigh on my website. So I'll post a few here so she can "show her off" like those proud grandma's do. I promise when I get caught up I will do a session of my fantastic 4 so I can pass out some updated pictures.

An old time favorite.

This photograph was taken when the smallest of my fantastic 4 was barely one year old. It was a family trip home (for me) to the orchard I grew up on. I will never forget my time there. I watched my father and brother plant every single tree by hand. I earned my first dollar there picking apples. Going home was always a treat with homemade apple pies and cider. It didn't take little Kayleigh long to realize that fresh apples are a good thing. Even though this photo was a simple point and shoot print. The innocent look on her face is one that has earned a favorite spot in my fathers opinion (whom is my biggest fan) and by his request I will post it here. So grab an apple and a camera. This is a shot every mother should have of their little girl or boy. (Or better yet call me and I'll take it for you) :)

Jearlyn baby shower preview

I must say this was the cutest baby shower I have ever seen. It really made my job an easy one. I am really looking forward to our next session as soon as baby Seth arrives. It won't be long now!

Ashley and Sage

This is only one of my very own fantastic 4. I have been blessed with amazing children. She can always smile and get processing priority from me. You two are so cute.

Little Mister James

This little guy is soooo cute and very active. Here are just a few shots I captured while chasing him around. :)

H.M.S. "fun" group shot

The biggest compliment I receive about my work is that people have fun. It doesn't matter if your 1 or 80. I let my clients be free to be themselves. Photo shoots are never uncomfortable for anyone. Here's one of the silly shots I caught when I allowed the cheerleaders to be silly. They are so cute!

John and Karla Family Proofs

What an amazing family (including the new puppy) I had so much fun with you all. Enjoy!
